FFIX was the first FF game I both owned and completed so it’s always been a special game to me in terms of characters, storyline and music. The music in particular is so nostalgic and perfect that it comes very close to VI when I have to pick my favourite OST. Melodies of Life is definitely my favourite vocal piece from any Final Fantasy game.
This set itself includes the complete soundtrack across 4 CDs, some really nice Amano prints of all the characters on very fine paper (almost like tissue paper its so thin), liner notes in Japanese and a Melodies of Life musical score.
